Could Relive

I have lots of special and unforgettable memories in my life. The

Lunar New Year, My birthdays, Children’s Day, Christmas, and

New Year are all my favorite celebrations. But the most

memorable day for me was 2015 the day before New Year.

In the morning Dad surprised me with presents like snacks and

toys. But the best toy Dad bought me was a plushie of Stitch

from Lilo and Stitch. It was my favorite movie at that time.

While I was admiring my presents and playing with them my dad

and mom were cooking lasagna which was my favorite food. As

soon as the lasagna was ready my family members like my aunts,

uncles, grandparents, and cousins arrived at my house. While

the adults were talking I was playing with my cousins who are

all about my age. We played with my new toys, played hide and

seek, and we chased each other around the house. It was so

exciting.

A few hours later me and my cousins talked about our New

Year’s resolution. Now that I think about it, what we wished for

was so childish. In the evening we ate chocolate cakes. It was the

best cake ever. During the New Year countdown, all my family

members were counting together. Then we all said “Happy New

Year”. Being with my family felt so complete.

Now that I think about it, it feels so nostalgic. Even though it

was 8 years ago from now I still cherish it.
