Beauty in Imperfection
It is a fact that perfection's an illusion,
An ideal we can never truly attain.
All of us have our flaws and imperfections
But that is what makes us special and genuine. Our skin is not uniform our hair is not perfectly styled
They embody who we are, without repetition or replication.
In a world where perfection is held in regard We may not embody notions of beauty
Where flawlessness is the ultimate objective, We are already perfect the way we are each, in our own peculiar
Those who strive to fit in with all their might way.
They often find themselves suffering, their hearts bruised yet unbroken.
Every scar, every flaw
Beautiful, imperfect, and distinctive Has a tale to tell.
Each of us possesses our flaws and qualities. They reveal your history
We may not align with society’s standard of fairness The experiences you have had.
But we radiate our own extraordinary essence.
In this tapestry of life
I appreciate the beauty found in the fractures Each mark represents a brushstroke.
In the scars carved by life challenges With layers of complexity and richness
In the wrinkles that chronicle a journey It has become a masterpiece of art.
In the imperfections that ignite our sense of being alive.
The imperfections serve as your strengths,
I perceive beauty, in individuality Your identity.
In one-of-a-kind attributes and characteristics For, within this depiction
In those aspects that differentiate us from the masses You are a masterpiece.
In those elements that define us.
