Long Hours of School
Since, I have become a teenager my school load has increased enormously. I am studying from day to night
at school and my home. Because I am studying all the time, I have, a lot of problems and side effects have
occurred. The side effects are poor amount of sleep, not understanding my classes and ruining my health.
The lack of sleep due to lots of school ruins my health. I wake up very early to go to school. My school starts
at 8:00 and the most troubling thing is that my home is very far from school, so this is the cause of me for
waking up early at 6am. Because of this I have a side effect of not getting enough sleep and always being
exhausted. The solution to this is sleeping early, but I can’t. The reason is I stay up very late completing my
homework.
The side effect of having small amounts of sleep is I can’t pay attention in class. I get so tired, and my
eyeballs automatically shut down. So, I can’t understand my classes fully and this causes me to be
unproductive. I must search and understand the lessons by myself at home that I couldn’t pay attention to in
class, and this takes a lot of time. Due to this, I stay up all night and get minimum amounts of sleep. This
becomes a loop and repeats itself.
The problem that occurs from studying too much is not being able to do any kind of exercise. I should be
exercising and playing sports in my golden teenage years but sadly, I can’t because I don’t have any free time.
Lack of exercise may cause my growth to slow down or perhaps stop.
In conclusion, when I became a teenager, my life has flipped upside down thanks to school. I don’t get
enough sleep, understand my classes, or do any exercise. The worst thing is I believe I am not growing
because of too much school.
