Browsing the Area Alarm by Using the Web Pages

NOTE:
The Area Alarm can only be configured by using the front panel keys.
However, the information from the Area Alarm can be browsed.

1. Log onto the Area Alarm by typing the word Area followed by the Area
Alarm Network Communications Board’s serial number, Area#####, into
your Internet browser’s address window.

2. To find the serial number of the Network Communications Board, look at
its label located on the back of the Area Alarm’s front panel.

NOTE:
Another method of browsing the Area Alarm is by clicking on the Master
Alarm’s Network Devices link from the Master Alarm Home page. This page
has links to all of the devices on the Master Alarm’s network.

After you log into the Area Alarm, the Area Communications Module Home
page displays (see figure 1-59 on page 1-124).

3. Make viewing selections from the Area Communications Home page.
