Cultural Heritage
Like no other country, France has managed to make wine a solid part of its culture. French wines are among the best in the world. Bordeaux in particular sets standards here. There is a Bordeaux style that is like a balance between strength and nesse. All of the winemakers in this very large, extensive region decline the Bordeaux spirit in their own way. We took a look around the Libournais - the right bank with the big red wines like Pomerol and St. Émilion.
