                                                       Loropetalum              Chinense            var.

                                                       rubrum

                                                       Showy burgundy foliage matures to a lovely
                                                       bronze-green, maintaining a purple tinge as it
                                                       ages, creating a colorful year round accent to
                                                       the landscape.  One of the most reliable
                                                       shrubs, bringing four seasons of color to the
                                                       garden.

                                                       Plant Size:   Grows 5-6’ tall and 3-5’ wide.  Can
                                                       be pruned as a shrub or hedge or just left to
                                                       grow naturally.

                                                       Evergreen/Deciduous:  Evergreen

               Light Needs:   Partial to full sun

               Watering:   Water regularly during the first growing season to establish an
               extensive root system.  On irrigation system, water one inch a week.


               Blooms:  Pink flowers bloom heaviest in the spring, repeating thru fall.


               Key feature:   Dramatic foliage color, easy care, beautiful fringe flowers.
