Summary

The assignment for a video platform came into existence after a client approached MAD Consultancy with it. MAD
Consultancy is a small company consisting of young entrepreneurs. They focus on building software applications and
related online services. They liked the idea of the client and decided to make it a complete stand-alone platform that they
could use for themselves and sell it to other clients.

The video platform had to be fully working and easy to use; content should be easily added and found. For this a
categorization and tags system was needed. It needed to look presentable and user friendly. Users should have the ability
to rate videos, create playlists and of course watch and comment on videos. It was very important to have an admin panel
where the client could have an overview and maintain parts of the platform.

After a couple of meetings with the company directors of MAD Consultancy, I was assigned to the video platform project.
It was my job and responsibility to create this project, and make it fully working. The project contained quite a lot of parts
that I was not familiar with and a lot of new technologies needed to be studied. I however managed to push through these
hurdles and I was able to achieve what the client and MAD Consultancy wanted. The video platform was fully tested and in
the hands of MAD Consultancy, it will be used for quite some time.
