DANCE & P.E.
• Happy Feet (Ages 3-5) - Students will explore different types of movement and music
including tap and acrobatics. A fun all- round course for any child. Students will also learn to
remember dances while singing songs! Super fun! Instructor: Amy Stahlman Recommended
Donation of $12 per weekly session
• Classical Ballet/Lyrical 1/2 (Ages 7-10) - This course is for young students age 5-9 who are
interested in beginning classical ballet training. Students will stretch, focus on 4-6
combinations at the barre, center work and movement across the floor. Students will focus but
also have fun. Additionally, students will learn a group dance to perform at the Fine Arts
Festival. Proper alignment, posture and form is focused on as well as fun large leaps and
interpretative dance. Instructor: Amy Stahlman Recommended Donation of $12 per weekly
session
• Acro 1 (Ages 6-10) - Students will learn forward and backward rolls, headstands,
handstands, cartwheels, round offs, bridges etc. As students gain strength and flexibility,
more advanced tricks will be introduced: front and back walkovers, handsprings etc.
Stretching, conditioning, and safety will be emphasized. Practicing acrobatics helps dancers
tremendously with balance, flexibility, and strength. And, it’s so much fun! Instructor: Tanya
Fisher Recommended Donation of $15 per weekly session
• Just Dance (Ages 6-10) - This course will start with a quick warm up and then students will
be learning dances from various styles and time periods including: country, swing, beginning
jazz, hip hop, and others. Requirements: Students must participate/perform in at least one
Quest Connects show. Instructor: Amy Stahlman Recommended Donation of $12 per weekly
session
• Beginning Karate (Ages 6 & Up) The course will encompass all aspects of traditional martial
arts (kicks, punches, blocks, throws, and grappling) with a heavy emphasis on practical self-
defense. Open to all ages 6 to adult. Wear comfortable, modest athletic clothing. This is a 45
minute course for young or inexperienced students. Instructor: Todd Fairweather
Recommended Donation of $12 per weekly session.
• Advanced Karate (Ages 8 & Up) The course will encompass all aspects of traditional martial
arts (kicks, punches, blocks, throws, and grappling) with a heavy emphasis on practical self-
defense. Open to all ages 8 to adult. Wear comfortable, modest athletic clothing. This is a 60-
minute course for older, more experienced students. Instructor: Todd Fairweather
Recommended Donation of $12 per weekly session.
• Rhythmic Gymnastics (Ages 7-12) - This is a dance course that is a beautiful and artistic
sport. It will combine hoops, ribbons and balls for a wonderful experience in balance and
coordination. Students in this course will be required to purchase a ball, hoop and ribbon for
use during class. Instructor: Tanya Fisher Recommended Donation of $15 per weekly session
