              THE HUMAN BEAN

OVER $426,000 COFFEE FOR A CURE

n October 22, The Human Bean held
         Oits 16th-annual breast cancer fund-
raising event, Coffee for a Cure, and raised
         $426,551.42 towards breast cancer diagno-
sis, treatment and care. A total of $2.6 mil-
lion has been raised over the past 16 years,
this year being their biggest yet. All sales
from food and beverages that day, from all
locations throughout the United States, were
donated to local breast cancer related non-
profits and hospitals. Southern Oregon was
proud to be part of the event.

The money raised will help fund preventive
scans for early detection, provide education,
and support patients with expenses while
going through treatment, with funds allo-
cated to patients who need financial help the
         most.

The Human Bean’s mission has always been
to inspire authentic human connections, with
a bean on top, and to give back and support
the communities they serve. “We thank you
for supporting all the patients and their fami-
lies by contributing to this cause. Together,
we were able to make a difference.”
