NOVI
LIBERATING MUSIC FOR THE SOUL
“Let the enthusiasm fly off like loose glitter”
arolyne Neuman, aka Novi, is an Oregon native who got her start
Cin comedy and improvisation. After moving to LA, she broke into
the music industry. When she found that her influences from various
genres could not be categorized, she began creating her own sound—a
vibrant, ever-expanding box of atmospheric melodies, thumping bass,
dirty beats, and more. Novi’s music has been featured on shows such as
Fakin’ It, Charmed, The Punisher, and Jessica Jones. She’s collaborated
with stars like Tyler Blackburn and garnered over a million streams on
Spotify, over 200,000 views on YouTube, and been featured in major
playlists on Spotify and Apple Music. She stands out as a free-spirited,
creative rebel who reminds us to be ourselves. In 2020, she released
five singles: “Daydream,” “School Bus,” a cover of Sixpence None The
Richer’s classic “Kiss Me,” “Top Down Honey,” and most recently,
“Electricity.”
“Top Down Honey” comes from Novi returning to her roots in Oregon.
“Something about being on the open road with endless adventure ahead
was so liberating! My wish is that you grab a pal, jump in the car, and
drive as deep into the wild as possible, singing as loudly as possible.”
“Electricity,” Novi’s follow up single to “Top Down Honey,” is a synth-
wave single, both produced by EDM producer STéLOUSE (“Sociopath”).
“Electricity is about that first love of something or a person that sets
your soul on fire! For a moment or forever. Life is short, so we might as
well fall completely in love with it from time to time.”
Novi is preparing an EP release early in 2021 that will include some
unreleased songs.
