oldest winery in Vienna, Austria.

Valley View Winery (restoring the name of Peter Britt’s winery from
the 1850s) outside Jacksonville, dates to the 1970s.

In the early 1970s, Dick Troon planted vines and sold grapes to
local wineries. He later converted his barn to a winery. Today, Troon

          SOMETHING NEW

South Stage Cellars, a cozy spot tucked in downtown Jacksonville,
has expanded both indoors and out. Inside, they removed a solid wall
to create a more spacious, inviting feel, according to Connie Thomas,
Wine Club Manager and Events Manager. Expanded outdoor patio
seating includes a peek at California Street, as if the town is invited
to join you, yet without violating the cozy, private atmosphere. Tall,
old trees provide shade and comfort even on a hot afternoon. After
Porscha Schiller’s passing last year, South Stage wanted to honor their
beloved Tasting Room Manager and Marketing & Events Manager.
Porscha’s Memorial Wine Garden sits along one edge of the outdoor
          area, a tranquil space.

Wooldridge is taking its wares to town, ready to serve you in their in Historic Jacksonville Oregon
newly opened VinFarm and the Restaurant at VinFarm in downtown
Grants Pass—an urban tasting room and dining space across the hall.
Dinner, by reservation only, is a six-course prix fixe menu that includes
food from their own garden and charcuterie, and a wine pairing with Select from
each course. VinFarm tasting room has extended hours for downtown’s
monthly First Friday celebrations. Back at the vineyard, employees can 28 different
putter in their very own vegetable/herb garden onsite. Wines

New to town is Rellik Winery & Alpaca Farm. If the alpaca mention
sounds familiar, it’s because Rellik is where Caprice once operated.
