Artner is most proud of his staff and employees. “When it comes down
to it, it’s the people we have that make Ground Control. Without them
we wouldn’t be the Rogue Valley’s go-to material placement company.”
Along with the immediate Artner family members, Ground Control
currently has 25 employees and is looking to add to their team.
“It takes years of training and dedication to operate our advanced equip-
ment,” says Artner, and most of their current crew is cross-trained in
up to six different skills. “It takes a major team to accomplish what we
do. It also takes people dedicated to high levels of setting new stand-
ards.” It allows them to deliver each project on time, even during high
