MARKET ACCESS
We help you promote your products through provincial and national trade fairs, OTOP
(One-Town, One Product) shows, Go Lokal! retail store concepts in major malls, and the
internationally-recognized FAME exhibits. We can also link your business to big companies or
to government so that you can supply them with your products on a continued basis.

                   MODELS OF NEGOSYO
We give you different business ideas to help you get into business, from traditional enterprises
to direct selling and franchising. We also teach you livelihood skills like baking, soap-making,
etc. At our Negosyo Centers, there’s more than one way to do business. MSMEs need to have
ties with bigger guys to create synergies, which are essential in matching and innovating
                   products and services.

7 7 Increase awareness of government programs that address job creation and
               promote business and livelihood

DTI shall further improve the transparency of government programs and services through a
communication plan that is intensive, effective, sustained and well-supported. Promotion of these
programs and services will be done through different media channels, including social media, the
DTI website and other online platforms, television, movie houses, and printed publications. The
target is to achieve a 70-77% Public Awareness Rating at the end of the plan period.

8 8 Ensure that prices are reasonable

DTI aims to ensure “value for money” when consumers buy basic necessities and prime
commodities. We will maintain prevailing prices for food to be below the inflation rate. Through
the Online Price Monitoring System (OPMS) or the e-Presyo, consumers are guided with the
prevailing prices of basic necessities and prime commodities that are being monitored by the DTI.
