b) Absence of the safety cap. (Without the safety cap bone chips scatter that could cause
severe eye injuries; and possibilities of touching the rotating rotor that could cause severe
                              injuries.)
                          c) Defective or stuck interlocking switch. (Prevents operation of an unsafe bone mill.)
                       3. As the third measure of safety, upon actuating the interlocking switch the operator must
activate the on/off switch within three seconds; otherwise the idle and unattended bone mill
automatically turns the power off. That is, the bone mill could not be left powered and idle
                          for more than three seconds.
                       4. As the fourth measure of safety, in the case of a bone particle jam, the mill automatically and
within 3 seconds turns the power off.
                       5. Utilizing a maximum of 24 DC volts for powering the motor there is no available hazardous
                          electric voltage.

                     Notice

                     Green light indicates:

                         • Safe to remove the Safety Cap.
                         • System is “awake” and ready to operate.

                     Orange light indicates:
                         • The bone mill is in full milling power.

                         • Do not remove the Safety Cap
                         • In the case of a motor jam, the power to the motor is removed within about 3 seconds.
                     For Safety:

                        • If system is not used within 3 seconds, the system will automatically shut itself off.
