RESOLUTION 2018-25

RESOLUTION BY THE FINANCE AND BUDGETARY COMMITTEE
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF IPADS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT

WHEREAS, the Village Board adopted an Updated Capital Projects Plan
per Resolution 2018-10

WHEREAS, the Updated Capital Projects Plan include Technology
Upgrades for Village Hall; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board finds that the purchase of iPads and related
equipment for the Village Board and management will provide a greener and
more efficient way to distribute meeting materials; and

WHEREAS, CDW-G and CCB Technology have submitted proposals for
ten iPads and related equipment; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board is satisfied with the proposal submitted by
CDW-G and CCB Technology.

WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that it would be in the
best interest of the Village to proceed with project using fund balance collected
through the closure of Tax Increment District #3; and

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the execution of an agreement with Sound Solutions
Company, as set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein is authorized and approved.

2. That the costs related to installation and purchase of ten iPads
and related equipment shall not exceed $7,000.

3. That the funds for said maintenance project shall be taken from
Fund 101 Fund Balance.

4. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized
to sign any agreements or other documents necessary to carry
out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 20th day of March, 2018.
