To begin the double fisherman’s, ensure that the
             joining strands are moving in opposite directions.









             Take the strand that is pointing right, and double
             overhand it from left to right.











             The opposite strand will therefore be pointing left, so
             double overhang it from right to left.










             To finish the double fisherman’s, dress and stress both
             tails, then pull them together. The double overhangs
             should fit like puzzle pieces on one side and have four
             parallel strands on the other.
