my ability to work with colleagues and peers, and my co-creators, brought out the best
in me and in the video artefact produced to date and in the next version to come.
My co-creators contributed wholeheartedly to the process which was a joy to me in my
person and in my work; it made me feel valued. Likewise, I hope it did them in being
asked to take part.
They continue to provide feedback and incentivise the production new and improved
versions of videos of real practitioners to support the role of the coach in Gaelic games.
It is my duty and privilege to continue to listen to the feedback and collaborate with
them to achieve those aims.
With an excess of 20,000 registered teams annually, the GAA has many players for
whom the quality of coaching has a significant impact on their experience of Gaelic
games (Balish et al). Supporting the coaches of those teams is my professional and our
organisational challenge. Working together to collectively create resources to do so is
the way.

I believe in the ‘Coach model. Coaches and Coach Educators have responded
positively to its use for Coach Development in the GAA.
