8-12. Each month, participants read a book from a certain genre and have a discussion with
activities.
• DIY@ The Library: Pressed Flower Luminaries on Monday, September 17 at 5:30pm Learn
how to make beautiful luminaries from pressed flowers. Affordable and fun to make. Makes a

• Up, Up, & Away for K-3 Tuesday September 18 at 4pm at the Canton Branch. Ready, set,
take off! Why do planes fly? We take a look at aerodynamics and propulsion and make our own
planes. Experiment with gravity and understand Newton's Law with Balloon Rockets. Join us to

● Save the Harvest Preservation Workshop Thursday Sept 27 1pm at Waynesville Wrapping
up our AGVOcate Haywood Series (collaboration with Stanberry Insurance and the Library)
we will offer this workshop on how to preserve the summer's bounty. We will
