                           Annual Cupcake Challenge Event held at the Canton Branch


                                                                    The annual Cupcake Challenge was
                                                                    held at the Canton Branch Library
                                                                    on August 20 . This event is highly

                                                                    anticipated in the community and
                                                                    we start fielding questions about it as
                                                                    early as April. The event is a
                                                                    wonderful multi-generational
                                                                    activity. This year, the challenge was
                                                                    tied to the Summer Reading theme
                                                                    of Libraries Rock - entries reflected
                                                                    that theme, whether it be a music or
                                                                    geology theme or as an expression
                                                                    that their library "rocks." The Martin

               Let your family, friends, and neighbors know the Board of Elections is looking for a few

               good community members for Early Voting and Election Day Opportunities.


               BOE is looking for registered voters that would like to work during the upcoming

               election.  Chief Judges will earn $13.00 per hour and judges will earn $11.00 per hour.
