*Rules & Regulations
The following Rules & Regulations are in addition to rules, regulations, and restrictions found in the condominium documents, state statute, administrative code, city, county and federal law.
FEES:
1) Parking fees may be paid in cash, check or by courtesy coupons.
2) Daily and Overnight fees cannot be charged to apartment units.
3) Daily Parking - $3.00 or 1 courtesy coupon (daily period based on calendar date)
4) Overnight Parking - $5.00 or 2 courtesy coupons (overnight period based on calendar date)
5) Monthly Parking – $60.00
6) Courtesy Coupon Books – 10 coupons for $20.00
7) Parking charges will not be applied to:
a. Guests vehicles parked by valet employees for periods up to 30 minutes.
b. emergency vehicles (police - fire - rescue - etc.) at any time.
c. governmental employees (city - county - state- federal) on official business.
d. visiting medical personnel (doctor - nurse - therapists) for up to 3 hours.
e. handicapped vehicles for up to 1 hour (tag or decal must be displayed)
8) Parking Fees for motorcycles, scooters or any similar 2 or 3 wheeled vehicles licensed to drive on public roads in the State of Florida shall be $3.00 for daily parking, $5.00 for overnight parking, $60.00 per month for a full sized parking space (if a parking space is available) and $30.00 per month for an undersized parking area that may not be designated as a parking space.
GUESTS:
1. All guests are required to have their vehicles parked by the valet department and pay a service fee
based on the number of days their vehicle stays in the custody of the valet department.
EMPLOYEES:
1. Employees working for the association will park in areas assigned by the valet or security
departments and will not be charged a parking fee.
2. Employees are to obey the posted 5 mile per hour speed limit throughout the garage areas.
3. Employees are prohibited from parking at random.
4. Private employees are classified as guests and must comply with all rules and regulations that govern
the parking of guest vehicles.
GARAGE ACCESS:
1. Unit owners, lessees or occupants of record must enter the garage level parking areas through the
north driveway entrance gate.
2. Unit owners, lessees or occupants of record must have an active bar coded parking decal affixed to
their vehicle to open the entrance gate and enter the garage areas.
3. Unit owner, lessees or occupants of record must register their vehicles with the management staff
to receive a bar coded parking decal. Unit owners, lessees or occupants of record are solely responsible for the timely manner in which they apply for and receive a parking decal. Unit owners, lessees or occupants of record arriving after hours without an active bar coded parking decal must leave their vehicles with the valet department.
4. Unit owners, lessees or occupants of record must have an active bar coded parking decal to enter the north driveway entrance gate. Unit owners, lessees or occupants of record are solely responsible for calling and confirming the status of their parking decal before returning to La Mer after an absence.
5. With the exception of employees and vendors who are assigned temporary parking by the security staff, vehicles without bar coded parking decals will not be allowed to enter the property.
6. With the exception of employees and vendors who are assigned temporary parking by the security staff, vehicles without bar coded parking decals will be advised to have their vehicle parked by the valet department.
7. In all cases, regardless of negligence, fault or mechanical failure, any unit owner, lessee or occupant of record who does not have an active bar coded parking decal that will open the north driveway entrance gate must have their vehicle parked by the valet department until the matter can be resolved.
