*Rules & Regulations
The following Rules & Regulations are in addition to rules, regulations, and restrictions found in the condominium documents, state statute, administrative code, city, county and federal law.
The security staff at the north gate entrance booth has instructions to call the Hallandale Beach police department and register a complaint against the driver of any vehicle that is threatening, abusive and/or blocks the entrance driveway and refuses to cooperate with instructions.
POOL, DECK & BEACH AREAS
1. CLOSED: MIDNIGHT until 6:00AM
2. SWIMMING POOL IS CLOSED – 1⁄2 HOUR BEFORE DUSK TO 1⁄2 HOUR AFTER DAWN (Does not
meet night time lighting requirements)
3. Attendant (not lifeguard) on Duty: 9:00AM to 5:00PM
4. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. USE OF SWIMMING POOL IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
5. Use of the swimming pool and deck are for the exclusive use of unit owners, lessees of record and
their invited guests, Non-resident guests are not permitted to use the swimming pool or deck
without the continued presence of the inviting unit owner or lessee.
6. All persons must shower before entering the swimming pool.
7. Children under twelve (12) years of age are not permitted on the pool deck or in the swimming
pool unless under the supervision of an adult.
8. Diving and/or jumping into the swimming pool are not permitted.
9. Only diapers specifically designed for such purpose and approved by management may be worn
in swimming pool.
10. No food, *drinks, glassware or animals in the swimming pool or on the pool deck. *(water in a
plastic container is permitted in the deck seating areas.) (Eating and drinking is allowed on the
tables at the southwest portion of the pool deck from 9:00AM to 10:00PM) (12-13-2012)
11. Food and drinks are permitted at the tables under the patio awnings. Refuse must be discarded
in the provided receptacles.
12. The beach gate should never be left open or unlocked. Do not open the beach gate for strangers.
13. When returning from the beach, remove all sand and tar before ascending the stairs to the pool
deck. Showers and cleaning supplies are provided for clean up.
14. Before entering the main lobby or restaurant you must be drip-dry, free of sand, and properly
attired including footwear and top covering other than bathing attire.
15. Running, pushing, wrestling, tag games, ball playing, or similar is not permitted on the pool deck
or in the swimming pool.
16. Boats, floats, tubes, toys, surfboards, fins, and scuba tanks are not permitted in the swimming
pool.
17. “Water wings”, “noodles”, “kick boards”, and/or other safety devices designed specifically to be
used as personal floatation devices may be used in the swimming pool.
18. Deck attendants are in charge of distributing and collecting lounge pads and covers.
19. Lounges may not be reserved in advance. Use of lounges is on a first come first serve basis.
20. Lounges may not be reserved or used during hours when attendant service is available unless the
lounge is set-up with a cushion provided by the association and a cushion cover that matches the
association’s approved cover in size, style and color. (07-27-06) (12-13-2012)
21. Lounge pads must be covered with a lounge cover that conforms to Board approved size and color. Lounge pads and covers are available from the deck attendants. Lounge pad covers may
not be taken off the pool deck.
22. Chairs, lounges and patio furniture may not be taken off the pool deck.
23. Playing of musical instruments, radios, etc. must be at a volume so as not to disturb the normal
conversation of others.
24. SMOKING is not permitted in the swimming pool or anywhere on the pool deck.
25. Owners and/or lessees with ten (10) or more guests must obtain permission from the deck
attendants prior to the use of chairs, lounges, and patio tables. Permission may be denied during
peak holiday periods.
26. Functions or parties involving entertainers, bands, disc jockeys, commercial games, sporting,
cooking, music, or recreational equipment are not permitted on the pool deck unless sponsored by the association, social club, or operator of the restaurant and open for the benefit and enjoyment of all La Mer residents and their invited guests.
