*Rules & Regulations
The following Rules & Regulations are in addition to rules, regulations, and restrictions found in the condominium documents, state statute, administrative code, city, county and federal law.
STORAGE ROOMS / BINS
1. Storage rooms and bins are located on each floor with the exception of the 2nd floor in the West building. Storage bins for the 2nd floor in the West building are located in the parking garage outside the West building’s lower lobby.
2. Each storage bin should be clearly marked with an identifying unit number.
3. Storage bins should never be used to store flammable, corrosive, and/or hazardous materials or
perishable food products.
4. Each unit owner is responsible for locking his or her storage bin.
5. Storage of any personal items outside of storage bins is prohibited. Any personal items found
outside of storage bins will be considered abandoned and disposed of without further notice.
TENNIS COURTS
1. Hours of Operation: Daily - 8:00AM until Dusk on weekdays and 9:00AM until Dusk on Weekends.
2. The tennis courts are kept locked when not in use. Registered players may check out key at the
valet desk.
3. Reservations must be made at the valet desk no earlier than 4:00PM the day before playing.
Players making reservations in person will have priority over telephone reservations.
4. The names of all players must be entered on the reservation sheet.
5. Non-resident players are not permitted to play without the continued presence of the inviting unit
owner or lessee.
6. Only one reservation is allowed per unit per day. Each reservation is for one hour.
7. Reservations will be considered valid for a period of ten (10) minutes past the starting time.
8. Proper tennis shoes and shirts must be worn while on courts.
9. Children under 14 years of age may only use courts if supervised by an adult unit owner or lessee
of record.
10. The valet staff is in charge of court reservations.
11. The security and valet staffs are in charge of rule enforcement.
12. Use of tennis courts is at players risk regardless of any negligence on the part of the condominium association.
13. The tennis courts may not be used for any purpose or activity other than playing tennis.
TRASH CHUTES
1. Trash chutes are located in the laundry room on each floor and are for the exclusive use of the building’s residents.
2. The trash chutes shall not be used by contractors and/or tradesmen.
3. Refuse should be placed inside a plastic bag, then put into the trash chute.
4. Heavy or bulky items should not be placed in trash chute.
5. Unwrapped glass containers should not be placed in trash chute.
6. Debris and material from contruction and/or remodeling should not be placed in trash chute.
7. Loose newspapers and/or magazines should not be placed in trash chute.
8. La Mer Condominium participates in a recycling program. Residents are urged to place recyclables in the plastic bin provided in each laundry room. Cardboard boxes should be broken down and placed in back of the bin or on the floor under the plastic bin. Glass, plastic, aluminum and tin containers can be mixed together in the same plastic container. All food containers should be rinsed before being placed in the plastic container. Boxes should be broken down to take up less space.
