*Rules & Regulations
The following Rules & Regulations are in addition to rules, regulations, and restrictions found in the condominium documents, state statute, administrative code, city, county and federal law.
13. Oversized and/or heavy items should not be dropped into the trash chute.
PARKING
Information on parking may be found in Section XVI of the condominium documents. In addition: PARKING SYSTEM RULES, REGULATIONS AND GUIDELINES
As adopted at a duly called meeting of the board of directors on the 25th day of May, 2000 the following represents rules, regulations and guidelines necessary to establish and control a parking system at the condominium complex of La Mer. The authority for the following rules, regulations and guidelines is based on Section XVI, page 21, Declaration of Condominium.
ASSIGNMENT OF PARKING SPACES:
1. Each unit in the condominium complex of La Mer shall be deeded or assigned the use of *one parking
space. All additional vehicles belonging to unit owners, lessees or occupants of record must use the
services of the valet department.
2. Temporary parking space assignments may be issued from time to time when certain parking spaces
cannot be used while the association is performing repairs or when traffic must be detoured.
3. The valet department is authorized to use, on a temporary basis, any parking space that is not in current use by the unit owner, lessee, or occupant of record for the purpose of providing sufficient parking spaces for residents, guests, employees, vendors, medical personnel and government, law
enforcement or business officials.
4. The security department is authorized to use, on a temporary basis, any parking spaces authorized by
the valet department for the purpose of providing temporary parking for vendors, employees, government, law enforcement, emergency personnel, or business officials.
5. The use of deeded or assigned parking spaces is not transferable on a temporary basis and said parking spaces shall only be used by the unit owner, lessee or occupant of record, or by the security or valet departments as herein authorized by the board of directors.
Specifically:
5a. Vendors/Contractors may not use the parking space of the unit they are working in. 5b. Decorators may not use the parking space of the unit they are working in.
5c. Domestic employees may not use the parking space of the unit they are working in
unless they are registered as an occupant and residing in the unit.
5d. Visitors may not use the parking space of the unit unless they are registered as
occupants and residing in the unit.
5e. Relatives may not use the parking space of the unit unless they are registered as
occupants and residing in the apartment.
PARKING DECALS:
1. Each unit shall be issued not more than one non -transferable bar coded parking decal.
2. Bar coded parking decals shall be issued to unit owners, lessees, or occupants of record only.
3. To the best of its ability, management will only activate the bar coded parking decals for those unit
owners, lessees or occupants of record who are known to be in residence and authorized to enter the
garage parking areas.
4. To the best of its ability, management will deactivate the bar coded parking decals of those unit
owners, lessees or occupants of record who are not in residence, who are found to be in violation of
the association's parking regulations, or are no longer authorized to enter the garage parking areas.
5. Bar coded parking decals shall only be issued, activated and deactivated by the management staff.
6. Only one bar coded parking decal per unit will be active unless an additional vehicle for the unit is on
valet service and has been assigned a temporary space in the garage area. Residents who have the use of more than one vehicle must declare a vehicle for primary use. Multiple decals will not be issued.
7. Each bar coded parking decal must be permanently affixed to the vehicle in the same approximate location on each vehicle as required by the gate operator.
