ELEVATORS
1. Smoking is not permitted inside elevators.
2. The interior of each elevator cab is monitored by video camera to discourage vandalism.
3. Tradesmen and delivery personnel must use the padded service elevator when transporting tools
and materials. A $250.00 security deposit is required before transporting tools and materials in
any elevator. The security deposit must be on file in the management office.
4. Extended use of the service elevator must be reserved and scheduled in the management office.
There is no guarantee of exclusive use.

During this period elevator cabs can only be activated by emergency personnel with the appropriate keys. Elevator service will not resume until both the alarm system and elevator system have been reset.
9. The elevator doors should never be blocked or held in the open position.
10. There is an emergency telephone in each elevator cab. By pressing the telephone button at the
bottom of the control panel, you will be connected to a member of the building’s security staff.
11. In the event of a mandatory evacuation of the building due to the threat of a hurricane, use of an elevator is discouraged. If a mechanical or electrical problem occurs during the period of a mandatory evacuation, emergency personnel may not be available for assistance. Although use of an elevator is discouraged, management will only shut down two elevators and will leave one
elevator in service.
