*Rules & Regulations
The following Rules & Regulations are in addition to rules, regulations, and restrictions found in the condominium documents, state statute, administrative code, city, county and federal law.
HEALTH CLUB
1. Hours of Operation: Daily - 6:00AM until 11:00PM
2. The La Mer Health Club and all of its facilities are for the exclusive use of La Mer unit owners,
lessees of record, resident (live-in) guests, and family members restricted to parent, child,
grandchild.
3. Children 15 years of age and younger are not permitted inside the Health Club for any purpose.
4. Residents who are residing in the building are permitted to use a personal trainer.
5. Use of the Health Club facilities is at the users own risk regardless of any negligence on the part
of the condominium association.
6. Before use of the Health Club facilities the association strongly encourages all persons to consult
with their doctors.
7. Persons unfamiliar with all or any individual piece of exercise equipment should not attempt to use
equipment until advised and/or trained by a qualified fitness instructor in the safe and proper use of said equipment. Employees of the association are not qualified to give advice on the safe and proper use of the exercise equipment.
8. Food/eating is prohibited inside the Health Club.
9. Beverages must be in plastic or aluminum containers. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited inside
the Health Club.
10. Exercise bags or other personal items should be placed against one of the walls, away from all
walk areas. Do not place exercise bags or other personal items on the floor were they could
become a tripping hazard.
11. The association is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal items.
12. Keep loose fitted clothing and other hanging items away from the moving parts of equipment.
13. Reservations must be made to guarantee machine availability. Reservation clip boards are
located on the cork board next to the treadmills.
14. Time slots for use of equipment cannot be reserved more than 24 hours in advance of use. Each
piece of equipment can only be reserved one time each day by the same person.
15. Reservations will be considered cancelled if party is late by 10 minutes or more.
16. The association reserves the right to reserve blocks of time on any machine for special events.
17. For the user’s personal safety and to avoid damage to the equipment, soft soled sneaker type
shoes must be worn at all times in the exercise room. All other types of footwear are prohibited.
18. Disinfectant wipes are available in the exercise room. Please wipe down and clean equipment
after each use.
LAUNDRY ROOMS
1. Smoking is prohibited in laundry rooms.
2. Laundry rooms are located on each floor and are for the exclusive use of the building’s residents.
3. Laundry rooms shall not be used by contractors or vendors.
4. Laundry rooms shall not be used for storage.
5. Plastic tokettes, available for purchased from the valet staff, are necessary to operate the
washers and dryers.
6. The lights in every laundry room are automatic. Please do not turn the lights on or off manually.
7. Washing machines and dryers should be emptied as soon as the cycles are completed. Other
residents on the floor may be waiting to use the same machines.
8. The dryer’s lint filter should be cleaned after each use.
9. To prevent overflowing, only low suds detergents should be used.
10. Inform the management office of any problems with the machines.
11. A trash chute is located in each laundry room. Refuse must first be placed in a plastic bag, then
put down the trash chute.
12. La Mer Condominium participates in a recycling program. Residents are urged to place
recyclables in the plastic bin provided in each laundry room. Cardboard boxes should be broken down and placed in back of the bin or on the floor under the plastic bin. Glass, plastic, aluminum and tin containers can be mixed together in the same plastic container. All food containers should be rinsed before being placed in the plastic container. Boxes should be broken down to take up less space.
