World Vision hands over water


             supply system

             in Mulanje, World Vision recently handed
             over Mishoni Gravity Fed Water System
             to the people of the area. Speaking at the
             event, Director of Water Supply Services
             in the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation
             and Water Development John Kumwenda
             thanked World Vision for the great
             investment.

             Kumwenda said that the water system,
             re-designed after flood damages in 2015,
             was a great show of the organisation’s
             commitment to deliver meaningful
             interventions  that  will  go  a  long  way  to
             benefit Malawians.

             “I  am  convinced  that  this  water  intake
             will live to benefit this community and
             its neighbours for years to come and as
             government, we are proud of the partner
             we have in World Vision,” said Kumwenda
             as he took media questions at the end of
             the event at Thundu Primary School in
             Mulanje.
