Growing MIL’s Lexington Park presence
As of July 1st, MIL’s physical footprint in Lexington Park, MD will include the entire 3rd floor of
the 46655 Expedition Drive building that currently houses many of MIL’s NAVAIR support team
members. This tenancy provides us with an additional 7,700 square feet of marque space to bolster
our existing first floor entry office. The new office space, which doubles our Expedition Drive profile,
will be used to house personnel from the ETS, Cyber, and C4IS sectors, and will help to support our
continued expansion efforts at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Association of Proposal Management Professionals
On May 15-18, MIL representatives attended the Association of Proposal Management Professionals’
(APMP) annual Bid & Proposal Con event in San Diego, CA. The APMP is an internationally recognized
association with membership and corporate sponsors from a diverse range of disciplines and industries
who are committed to the pursuit of proposal excellence. The four-day event, held at the Sheraton San
Diego Hotel & Marina, featured workshops, such as The Art of “Bid or No Bid,” geared toward bid,
proposal, business development, capture, and graphics professionals.
This year, APMP honored five industry professionals with two of its highest awards. Among the honorees
was Alan Goldberg of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), who was this year’s recipient of the
McRae Founder’s Award for his lifetime achievement in APMP.
In addition, MIL’s own Thomas King achieved an APMP-Foundation Level Certification. This accreditation is an industry
benchmarked credential granted to a candidate upon successful demonstration of competence. MIL joins APMP in congratulating
Tom on his accomplishment!
