NOTES: B. SCHOOL DISTRICT CAPITAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT

Inadequate planning for facility needs can generate a perception in the
community that an assessment may not be necessary. This often results in
facilities that are overcrowded, too big, and/or unsafe, aging facilities,

understanding what is going on both inside and outside of your campuses
and pinpointing key issues that may need to be addressed and how soon. A
Needs Assessment is therefore a vital first step in the facility planning
                                                   process.
