Tribute From A Former Student

Apostle Rick, when you informed me that your father had passed, it
felt like something special left my heart.
Over these years your dad loved his students and even though only
two of us from Mangrove Cay are alive and remain, what a great joy
he has given to us - Callan Miller and myself. Every time we would
meet, his name would be like some sweet bread as we talk about him,
and of course your mother was the prettiest woman we had ever
seen. Your father gave us the best that we may choose from. His
good first grade math and the exemplary way he conducted himself
caused us tk follow his role model in the church.
Before he landed in Mangrove Cay, we had never had a born again, saved, Spirit filled, sanctified
man of God like him teaching in our school. What impression he left on us! Richard E. Dean, I will
         meet you in heaven.
To add to your gracious life, one must look at your children, the Apostle, the missionary and the
others that have kept your legacy blooming. You have done well!

On behalf of my family and the church, we mourn this great loss but celebrate His great Godly
         legacy.
