LIBATION CUP
18th/19th century
Finely carved with a chilong holding a lingzhi
spray clambering at the rim, the bifurcated
tail spreading across the side of the smooth,
plain vessel, the base enveloped with another
monster mask with its jaws wide open.

BEAST’ SEAL
Probably 18th/19th century
Of irregular triangular section, the finial carved
as a horned mythical beast clutching his tail in
his mouth, the pale green stone with traces of
the russet skin.
