While the decorative motifs are very much in
the same vane as the previous box,
stylistically this small teapot is in a highly
unusual square form and the addition and
style of the rosewood handle gives this item
an incongruously Art Deco style that is at
odds with the traditional decoration. One can
assume this featured at the 1931 Paris
Exposition.
The teapot is only 10cm high.
