This silversmith has
been somewhat of a
mystery for some
time. My research
h a s s o f a r n o t
clarified whether this
was a retail
silversmith, a
manufacturing
silversmith or both.
Currently, I am
inclined to believe
the DAIK GE name
w a s m o r e o f a
“trademark”. I have
also not discovered
any evidence that
large items were
made; flatware and
small tableware
items seem to be
associated with the
