Generally, the Lee Yee Hing mark appears on smaller items of
Chinese Export Silver. ranging from cigarette cases and novelty
items such as rickshaws to cocktail shaker sets and tea and coffee
sets. Lee Yee Hing marks appear on silver jewellery items. It has
not yet been established whether Lee Yee Hing was a retail or
manufacturing silversmith, or both - the former seem more likely
based on information gathered to date.
The really small items tend to carry the LYH mark and it is common
to find a single initial at one end of the mark that is believed to be
                                                   that of the responsible artisan.

Although no Chinese Export Silver marks are ever uniform, Lee
Yee Hing marks appear to have an unusually high variation of
formats which could indicate Lee Yee Hing/LYH items may be the
product of a variety of small sub-contracted workshops.
