Tian Xing in all its transliterated forms is a name that obviously stands for quality. Whether this  had anything to
            do with its Beijing roots can only be a matter for conjecture at this stage of research, but one can safely assume
            that  this  was  a  Beijing  silversmith  that  branched  out  to  Singapore  rather  than  vice  versa.  Singapore  would
            certainly  have  placed  such  a  fine  silversmith  well  on  the  radars  of  Straits  royal  households  and  attendant
            aristocracy.













































            Arab Street in Singapore was certainly at the historic heart of the Singapore that emanated from the grand plan
            that Raffles had for the city. Arab Street crosses North Bridge Road [see blow] where much of the silver makers
