This is one of the most impressive pieces of Tuck Chang silver that has been recorded. A large 24cm diameter
bowl [above] supported on three dragon form bracket feet and flanked by a pair of dragon handles. The bowl is
embellished with a profusely repoussé scene depicting Chinese figures and animals. The degree of depth and
perspective that has been created by the use of varying layers and the finely planished ground is quite
            phenomenal.

Tuck Chang was not all about ornate silverwares. Tuck Chang was one of the first Chinese retail silversmiths to
embrace modernism by creating a fusion with traditional Chinese decorative elements. This tea set and tray
creates a skilful marriage between an imminent Art Deco style and the traditional Chinese bamboo effect.
