            My research so far indicates quite strongly that Yuan Shun was likely to have been connected to the Yu Chang
            workshop [a workshop that also spawned Ye Ching and Ye Cheng]. As with all the marks connected with this
            workshop,  the  items  that  were  produced  were  diverse  and  often  lacked  any  cohesive  style.  For  reasons
            unknown this silver mark is often incorrectly identified as being Japanese
