A LARGE UNUSUAL CHENXIANGMU CUP
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The well-hollowed cup, of irregular, angled form, is carved in relief
with a heron in fight below the rim, and a pair of herons, one in
fight, the other standing amidst the windswept grasses and millet that
rise from the lower edge and follow the angled lines of the cup on
two sides.
