FANGZHUO-FORM STAND
DAOGUANG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND
OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The stand is well modelled in the form of
a fangzhuo with straight stretchers framing
reticulated overlapping roundels, the top is
painted with a central Shou roundel enclosed at
four corners by stylised bats and scrolling lotus
flowers and leaves.

The exterior is decorated with two striding
dragons amidst ruyi-shaped clouds, each
chasing a flaming pearl. The cover is similarly
decorated.
