A PALE CELADON JADE
CARVING OF A DEER
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The jade is well carved in the form of a
recumbent deer, with its legs tucked neatly
beneath the body and head slightly raised
with twin antlers, gazing above. The
stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet
inclusions.

A WHITE JADE CARVING OF
A DOUBLE-RING
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The group is cleverly carved as a pair of
interlocking parts that form a flat circular
ring. It is decorated on both sides with a
mythical bird and dragon motif. The semi-
translucent stone is of an even white tone
with some minor russet inclusions.
