The brush rest of scroll form is well carved
on the surface with five bats in flight amidst
scrolling clouds. The stone is of a pale yellow
tone with russet inclusions.

A CELADON JADE GU-FORM
VASE

QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

Of slightly flattened form, the vase is carved to
the central section with two bands of lappets,
all between further bands of pendent leaves to
the flared neck and splayed foot. The stone is
of a greyish-green tone.
