A RARE BRONZE FOLIATE TRIPOD CENSER
MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
明十七世紀 銅雙耳三足爐
The foliate censer is cast with two upright loop handles rising from the rim and
is supported on three short feet. The patina is of a mottled brown colour with
some surface encrustation. The base is cast with an apocryphal six-character
Xuande seal mark.

A BRONZE FIGURE OF GUANYIN
MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
明十七世紀 銅觀世音菩薩坐像
The fgure is seated in dhyanasana wearing an elaborate pierced crown and
beaded jewellery. Both hands are depicted holding the stems of fowers that
rise up to the shoulders. The face is detailed with downcast eyes and a serene
expression.
