Qing Dynasty
The washer with a deep well, formed with
a curled protuberance and short stem; the
teapot formed as a contemplative scholar
seated by an ancient pine trunk, the lid
modelled as a bowl with a bunch of wilted
flowers.
The teapot: 14.5cm (5 3/4in) wide (3).

TWO PEWTER ENCASED YIXING
TEAPOTS AND COVERS
The first stamped Yang Pengnian seal
mark, the pewter signed Xiaosong, the
second’s pewter signed Sun Yunzhong, both
Daoguang period
Each of half-moon form, with green jade
mounted loop handle, spout and cover finial,
one incised to one face with an orchid spray,
the other with a mountainous landscape, the
reverses with three-line inscriptions.
Each: 16cm (6 1/4in) wide (4).

A LARGE MOULDED YIXING TEAPOT
AND COVER
18th/19th century
The globular body made from buff-coloured
clay, with a naturalistic branch-form loop
handle and lid finial continuing onto the body
with moulded magnolia blossoms.
