Kangxi
The pear-shaped pot moulded in low relief
with chrysanthemum sprays, flanked with
a makara headed s-shaped spout, and a
replacement rattan handle, the moulded lid
with a squirrel amongst grape vines.

RECTANGULAR TEAPOT AND COVER
Attributed to He Xinzhou, Qing Dynasty
The rectangular vessel with angular-scrolling
handle and straight square-section spout,
surmounted by a flat lid with rectangular
tapering finial, the exterior covered overall in
a thick robin’s egg glaze, the reddish base
with impressed seal mark 石林何氏 shilin
heshi, the interior of the lid marked 心舟
xinzhou.

The teapot, six-character seal mark,
18th/19th century
The purple-red clay thinly potted with a
compressed, gently rounded tapering body,
the ear-shaped handle and straight spout
with yellow metal mounts, the base with a
six-character seal mark.
