The reddish-purple clay mixed with duanni shards, potted in a
compressed globular form rising from a lipped foot to a matching £800 - 1,200
lipped mouth, with brass, hinged, overhead handle, the base incised HK$8,300 - 12,000
gongju, the lid rim incised gaoyang, the surface polished overall to a CNY7,100 - 11,000
high sheen.
