ironwood, ebony, and walnut depicting reishi fungus and a ball carved
with shishi in landscape on one side and a ho-o (phoenix) in flight on
a base, unsigned, 3.7cm (1 7/16in); the fourth of bamboo, lacquered
and metal-inlaid with a branch of flowering prunus, a seal carved
beneath, unsigned, 3.5cm (1 3/8in). (4).
