           By Tametaka, Nagoya, 18th century
           The two shishi seated, curled around each other, their heads resting
           on each other’s backs, one with a loose ball inside its open mouth,
           their voluminous curly tails trailing behind, the wood stained dark and
           slightly worn; signed on the underside of one foot Tametaka.
