                                                                               TWO WHITE JADE SWORD SLIDES
                                                                               17TH-18TH CENTURY
                                                                               The larger is carved in high relief with a
                                                                               chilong with long, bifurcated tail; the smaller
                                                                               is carved in relief with archaistic scrolls and at
                                                                               one end with a taotie mask. The stone of each
                                                                               sword slide is semi-translucent.

          TWO SMALL WHITE JADE
          ARCHAISTIC BI DISCS
          MING-EARLY QING DYNASTY,
          16TH-17TH CENTURY
          Each is carved in high relief on one side with
          a chilong crawling around the central hole
          with a stem of lingzhi in its mouth, and each
          has a feld of tiny bosses on the reverse. Each
          is semi-translucent, the smaller of white
          color with some opaque white mottling,
          the larger with a very faint brown tinge
          to the white color.
