Give Women More Opportunities by Ida Rauh (Kodzo Mlagani)

Today, we all face one huge issue in our community and this is about the place that we should

reserve for women in our society. The debate is not new and has been discussed through many
generations to figure out what is needing to do. Some efforts have been done so far to improve women's

conditions but nowadays, the biggest fight remains the obtaining of the suffrage for the women in the

order to build an equal society for both, men and women.
The suffrage for women will allow them to place their voice and opinion in a vote and also

decide in many case for the society. Their contribution could be very important since we know that

women represent at least the total half of our inhabitants. It will be tragic if we don't give women the
chance to be an active part of our political and social development. We could not move forward on the

next generation without giving the equal opportunity to each gender to bring their knowledge. Today
good educated women are able to lead a community, work in the office, to defend a political opinion or

position, they can also guide other people, or also be very active on the national or international political
field. The world around us is moving and as a first economic world power, we need to do these changes

right now because order countries are already moving on the subject and we won't stay back on this fight

which is not only in the United State but also in the whole world. So, it’s the time for us to stand up and
do some change now.

We all believe in something new and better, in something that will take the frustration out of us
and out of the community and bring new hope, new vision, and new light. As poet Ezra pound said we

need to see things differently “to make it new” in other words, to rebuild the rights and law that are
leading our country and push all those lawmakers to think about the equality of every human being as

the key for the future social and economic evolution. Women can also work hard as the man in the labor

in the order to keep our economy up. Women can also lead a family as men do, they can go to work and
come back home to do their usual home duty of course with the help of their husband. New days are

coming and we all have to be a part of the new look of the world because our fight is saving for the

whole mankind.
