That in this house have called upon thy name.
For this building so lovely, so holy, so pure, 2/4
An edifice fit for a king,
We pray that whatever comes from within, Verse 3
May be fit for the King of all Kings. 1/3 Grant us thy peace, Lord, through the coming
night;
Verse 2 Turn thou for us its darkness into light;
And now as we dedicate this place to you,
Please, Father, accept if from us; From harm and danger keep thy children free,
Though unworthy the hands that give it to you, For dark and light are both alike to thee. 3/4
Sanctify, bless, and use for your cause;
Verse
May all those who do enter find solace and Grant us thy peace throughout our earthly life,
peace, Our balm in sorrow, and our stay in strife;
May your presence be always within;
May our lives reflect Jesus, that others may see Then, when thy voice shall bid our conflict
And know that we have been wth him. 2/3 cease,
Call us, O Lord, to thine eternal peace. 4/4

Many were the dreams we had over the years; 388 Stand up, and bless the Lord,
We prayed Lord, again and again. it was you Verse 1
built this house we can say without fear, Stand up, and bless the Lord,
Or else they had laboured in vain; You people of His choice;
All workers, whose hands, hearts and minds you Stand up, and bless the Lord your God,
employed, With heart and soul and voice. 1/5
Special blessings on them, Lord, we pray; Bless
us all as we dedicate this house to you, may you Verse 2
live with us now and alway. 3/3 Though high above all praise,
HOME Above all blessing high,
387 Saviour, again to thy dear Who would not fear His holy name,
name we raise And laud and magnify? 2/5

With one accord our parting hymn of praise; O for the living flame
From His own altar brought,
We stand to bless thee ere our worship cease, To touch our lips, our minds inspire,
