Plainview Hospital - The program emphasized the requirements and
STEM skills needed to be a supervisor in Revenue
Emergency Department Cycle. Students were shown how STEM is applied
to everyday tasks with the use of applications,
logic, and social skills to help meet health system
School Partner: William Floyd High School goals and priorities.
Students were immersed in the day-to-day
excitement of working in an emergency room. They
were taken through several typical ED scenarios
and participated in hands-on simulation learning.
